Nea Potidea and Surroundings

Nea Potidea is a village on the Chalkidiki peninsula, located right at the historic canal separating Kassandra from the mainland. The village has about 1,500 inhabitants and everything you need: supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacy, a playground and luna parks for kids, taverns, pizzerias, cafés and beach bars with live events.

The beach of Nea Potidea, about 15 km long, is awarded the Blue Flag for excellent water quality. Sunbeds and parasols at beach bars (after a small minimum spend), accessible access and lifeguard station. Water sports (jet-ski, pedalo, SUP) available.

Worth seeing: the Byzantine excavations along the canal. Recommended excursions: Thessaloniki, the caves of Petralona, Mount Athos and the world-famous monasteries of Meteora – all bookable directly with us.
